Shilpa Shetty reveals her adorable nickname for Tabu in birthday wish: “Dearest Timpoo, Happy Happy birthday”

Shilpa Shetty took to social media to celebrate the birthday of longtime friend and co-star Tabu. In a heartfelt post, Shetty shared a reel of candid moments with Tabu, tagging the actress with a sweet nickname and warm wishes.

In the post, Shetty wrote, “Dearest Timpoo, Happy Happy birthday @tabutiful. Here’s to great health, happiness and miles of smiles. Yours, always and forever, Silipoo.” The affectionate monikers “Timpoo” for Tabu and “Silipoo” for Shilpa capture the cosy bond between the two.

The shared video shows Shetty and Tabu laughing together and striking poses, accompanied by the popular track ‘Sare Bolo Happy Birthday’ by viral artist Viral Dhol, lending a celebratory vibe to the post.

Their friendship goes back years and includes shared screen space. They first appeared together in the 1996 action thriller Himmat (in which Tabu played the lead role and Shetty had an extended cameo) and later featured in the 2000 crime drama Tarkieb.

On the professional front, Tabu’s 2024 year included two film appearances: Crew and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Meanwhile Shetty marked a return to cinema with the 2021 release Hungama 2 and has been seen as a judge on the reality show Super Dancer Chapter 5.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, the birthday greeting is a nice reminder of the genuine personal connections in Bollywood, the kind that go beyond red carpets and publicity and reflect years of camaraderie.
