Ranvir Shorey REACTS sharply after Dhruv Rathee criticises Dhurandhar trailer: “Enough of his BS propaganda!”

A day after YouTuber Dhruv Rathee criticised the newly released trailer of Dhurandhar, actor Ranvir Shorey reacted strongly to his remarks, defending the film and calling out Rathee’s commentary.

Rathee had compared the trailer’s depiction of violence to extremist propaganda videos, questioning the intent behind the portrayal and urging the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) to reflect on its standards. His post quickly sparked debate online.

Responding to the criticism, Shorey wrote on X, “Buddy, you’re wrong most of the time, but I love how you’ve turned that into a career.”

In a follow-up post, he added, “I wouldn’t have engaged this fairy, had he not tried to sabotage a film & filmmaker. Enough of his BS propaganda! He’s making clout and money at the expense of Indians and their interests, while sitting in Europe! I pity Indians who follow this fool.”

The exchange has added another layer of conversation around Dhurandhar, which is directed by Aditya Dhar and features Ranveer Singh in the lead. The trailer, released on November 18, 2025, offers a brief introduction to the characters without revealing much of the storyline. Set against the backdrop of terrorism and inspired by true events, the film appears to explore themes of conflict, strategy, and high-stakes action.

The cast also includes Sara Arjun, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt.

Dhurandhar is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 5, 2025.
